Whitehurst Horse Prairie Ranch near Archer, FL
Sunday, November 18, 2007
3:30 – 7:30 p.m.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Carlton Ward, Jr., the acclaimed photographer and conservationist (www.carltonward.com).
We will honor Ed Montgomery, Land Manger for Rayonier Timber Company, with an award for his role in protecting the 2,300-acre Barr Hammock Preserve.
The fall fundraiser is a fun time to get together with old friends, make new ones, eat great food, and enjoy ourselves and the land. While we’re having a great time, our most important work is taking place:
- Our fall fundraising event is the most significant way that CTF meets its operating budget.
- At the fall fundraiser, we explain the tax and financial benefits of conservation easements and address land conservation strategies that aid in financial and tax advantages.
- The fall fundraiser is our opportunity to get to know everyone better, build a strong community base, and give a little bit back to all of you who make this great work of land stewardship possible.
